The previous version got so crazy popular I cannot believe how many views it has; this version is a more concise and hopefully more useful and updated version.
To start off, your first 4-person team has to have the following: a tank (or someone who can take damage), a dealer, and supports (priest/sub-DPS/CC). This guide will separate heroes by role, unlike the previous guide. I will still separate physical and magic.
There is also an FAQ at the end of the post to answer the questions I get most often. I’m no expert who can teach you how to be top 10 in every content, but I’ve been playing for a long time and I think I know a thing or two that I can share.
In this post, I will go over the pros and cons plus the role of every single hero released in the game as of Jan 2021, along with a few notes on some of them. I will try to keep it brief so you can decide who to build. Also, for the sake of saving your mobile data I will not include pictures.
(Side note: I consider myself a casual late game player, even though I’ve been playing since Nov 2016 in the open beta. Some stuff I put here may be outdated due to newer balance patches or because I’m too old and stuck with old info, although most of them should hold true. If you want super-specific builds or tips on how to be competitive in the rankings, please go to the community for that.)
This guide covers heroes that can erase enemy buffs.
Latest update: 8/11/2020
‘Skill’ means that the ability to cleanse is innate, you have the skill = you can dispel. ‘Transcendence’ means that you have to choose a certain perk to get the dispel. Lastly, ‘unique treasure’ means that you need to select that particular treasure as your main unique treasure for the dispel to activate.
Removing enemy buffs is useful in PvP and certain bosses. Heroes that are easy to use will be bolded.
